Strategy Guide
Amethyst/Ruby "Evasive Aggro-Tempo" — the sim's custom build
Built by the deck lab, not copied. The engine scanned all 15 Core ink pairs (each built legally — every card's inks a subset of the pair), picked Amethyst/Ruby as the strongest foundation, then co-evolved the exact card list against an adaptive field of its own best counters — so the win rate is earned against decks built specifically to beat it, not a weak fixed field.
Numbers
- - 78.2% vs a strong adaptive field of 10 (its own co-evolved counters + real archetypes) — the *trustworthy* competitive number.
- - 88.8% vs the current Core meta (Core-A/A 98%, real A/A 97%, Amethyst/Steel 97%, real E/S 94%, Core-E/S 82%).
- - Style profile: aggro / evasive-tempo — avg cost 2.45, 12 evasive threats, light removal (6), some card draw (8).
Game plan
This is a fast evasive deck: flood the board with cheap, hard-to-block threats and race to 20 lore before the opponent stabilises. Ruby brings the aggressive bodies; Amethyst brings evasive lore and reach.
1. Turns 1–3: curve out. Play a threat every turn — you want lore on the board immediately. Don't hold cards; tempo is everything.
2. Turns 3–6: quest hard, clear blockers. Your evasive threats can't be challenged, so keep questing. Spend your light removal on bodyguards and anything that walls your non-evasive attackers.
3. Close fast. You're a proactive deck — win by ~turn 6–8 before control's board wipes and card advantage take over. Every point of lore matters; race, don't durdle.
Mulligan
Keep hands with 2–3 inkable cards and an early curve (1–2–3 drops). Mulligan slow, expensive hands aggressively — you must apply pressure from turn 1. Prioritise evasive threats.
Matchups
- - vs Control: favoured if you're fast. Get them low before their stabilisers come online; play around a board wipe by not over-committing every card at once — keep a threat in reserve to rebuild.
- - vs other Aggro / Tempo: the race — prioritise evasive lore (unblockable) and trade only when it keeps you ahead on tempo.
- - vs Midrange: go under them — you're faster and more evasive; don't get into a fair fight on the ground.
*Auto-generated strategy from the deck lab. Every card verified legal (all Amethyst/Ruby). Win rates from the benchmark-validated engine (76.4% on the real A/A>E/S anchor).*
